Graham Mead
Graham Mead is an associate of the TRP. He moved to Hong Kong in 1974 to set up the Department of Computing Studies at Hong Kong Polytechnic (now the Polytechnic University). By 1983 that Department had become the main local supplier of commercially orientated IT staff. During this period the Department introduced the first commercially orientated computing degree course in Hong Kong.
Having established Hong Kong's premier source of IT training in the public sector, Graham turned his attention to providing a similar service in the private sector. In December 1983, he set up his own company to provide IT education and research services to companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
In recent years the company's work has focused on developments in the telecom industries in each of 12 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The database of information so accumulated is kept constantly updated and provides the basis for consultancy work and the production of multi-client studies.
